The mixture was incubated at room temperature for 2 h with vigorous shaking and analyzed on a Top Count scintillation counter.

16. The in vivo activity was compared to that of the published 11β-HSD1 inhibitor 44, which demonstrated approximately 40-45% inhibition in the mouse cortisone challenge assay described herein.
