    • To avoid builduof Overhauser fields in the PC experiments due to hyperfine interaction of the electron spin with the nuclei in the QD, the QD is nonresonantly excited in the wetting layer with linearly polarized light at high power before every single data point measured during a bias swee The effect of dynamic nuclear polarization during the measurement of each data point between these depolarization procedures is found to be negligible for the powers and illumination times used.
