    • Effective use of PI3K and MEK inhibitors to treat mutant Kras G12D and PIK3CA H1047R murine lung cancers
    • This study demonstrated that PIK3CA is oncogenic in the murine lung epithelium and that PI3K inhibition can cause dramatic shrinkage of the PI3K driven lung cancers. In addition, the authors showed that combined PI3K and MEK inhibition in vivo is an effective treatment for KRAS mutated lung cancers
