Oxidation of higher alkanes at moderate reaction conditions with ozone in presence of mesoporous materials

    • GC-MS: For analysis of compounds, Agilent 6890 gas chromatograph equipped with a quadruple Agilent 5973n mass selective detector was used. Column specifications: J & W DB5MS, 30 m length, 250 μm diameter and 0.25 μm film thickness. The GC-MS analysis was carried out in EI mode and the spectra were recorded in the interval 35-500 amu. The temperature program used during the GC-MS analysis was ramped as follows: 50 °C (2 min), 20 °C min-1 until 300 °C (10 min). The sample was carried out with a 1.50 min. splitless time at 250 °C. The carrier used was helium; FT-IR: FT-IR spectra of samples were recorded on a Nicolet Impact 400 equipment and Nicolet Impact Model-420 spectrometer with a 4 cm-1 resolution and 128 scans in the mid IR (400-4000 cm-1) region; -1HNMR: Varian Gemini 300 MHz, Temperature: ambient.
