(0.25umfilm thickness) β Dex 120 column (Supelco); the other column was a 25m x 0.22 mm i.d. (0.25 um film thickness) permethylated β-cyclodextrin column (SGE). Both were operated at a head pressure of 20 psi and used a gas chromatograph with flame ionization detection. A 3390A recorder integrator was used and a temperature program of 100 to 150 °C at 1 or 2 deg/min. A separation of a mixture of 14 and ent-14 was not attempted.
