Slides were washed once at 55°C in 1x standard saline citrate (SSC) followed by two washings at 55°C in 0.3x SSC. Sections were dehydrated in graded ethanols containing 300 mM ammonium acetate and after drying dipped in NTB-2 photoemulsion (Kodak). After 2 weeks, the sections were developed, counterstained with hematoxylin, dehydrated, and mounted.

2, and 75 mM ammonium sulfate. The cycle temperature and timing were as follows: 93°C, 1 min and 56°C, 1.5 min (35 cycles). In the last cycle, the extension was carried out for 10 min.
