Comparison of nebulized epinephrine to albuterol in bronchiolitis
-
This is the most recent randomized controlled trial that evaluates albuterol versus nebulized epinephrine in 703 patients with bronchiolitis. Nonadjusted results showed no difference between the agents in terms of discharge and admission rates and adverse effects. When results were adjusted for severity, the authors found a lower risk for admission (aRR=0.88) with albuterol
