    • The coupling reaction of other 3-substituted pyrroles 8 proceeded in good yields, but the selectivity of H-T and H-H dimers is not so high as that of thiophenes 5 under the present conditions. Further optimization for control of the regioselectivity in the bipyrrole synthesis will be described in due course.
