Scientific abilities and their assessment
-
Scientific abilities are approaches and procedures that scientists use when engaging in the construction of knowledge or in solving complex problems. Examples of the abilities are designing experimental investigations, collecting and analyzing data, reasoning from the data, constructing explanatory models and testing them, evaluating reasoning and design, solving complex problems, working with other people, and communicate. 10.1103/PhysRevSTPER.2.020103
