    • General experimental procedure for the synthesis of homoallylamines 3: To a solution of α-amido sulfone 1 (1 mmol) and GaCl3 (5 mol , in CH2Cl2 (5 mL) was added allyltriraethylsilane 2 (1.3 mmol) dropwise under nitrogen atmosphere. The mixture was stirred at room temperature. After completion (TLC, the reaction was quenched with distilled water (5 mL) and the mixture was extracted with CH2Cl2 (3 × 10mL, The combined organic portions were washed with water (2 × 10mL) and saturated aqueous NH 4C1 (2 × 10 mL, and dried over anhydrous Na2SO 4 and concentrated under vacuum. The crude product was subjected to column chromatography (silica gel 100-200, hexane-EtOAc) to obtain compounds 3
