    • In Ref., Astafiev studied the resonator spectrum as a function of the charging energy of the SSET and observe two bright spots, blue and red, detuned with respect to the Δ=0 condition. We remark that since in the experiment the Josephson energy is kept constant the detuning depends monotonically on the charging energy. Moreover a variation in the charging energy not only changes the detuning but also the coupling and the inversion. This does not change substantially the structure of the spectrum, but it leads to asymmetries between two peaks.
