    • The value of ±4n for the angular momentum is found by noticing that, in the (6n,0) zigzag nanotubes, the Fermi points correspond to large momenta ±4π/33a (a being the C-C distance) for the movement in the direction transverse to the nanotube axis. This leads to a phase of ±8πn picked up by electrons turning around the nanotube, taking into account the circular length of 6n3a for a (6n,0) geometry.
