    • The corresponding UV, vis spectrum (not reported) shows, as expected, a plasmon resonance of weak intensity but characterized by an anomalous shape, probably related to the variation of the local dielectric constant around Ag nanoparticles due to the presence of a significant fraction of water that has not been removed from the sample owing to the low activation temperature and to the large amount of sample needed to perform a UV, vis DRS spectrum
