22. Eighteen layers were chosen for the supercell because only a limited number of atoms can be used in each layer in the DiFFaX simulations. We tested the effect of changing the specific location of the stacking faults and the effect of different numbers of layers while keeping approximately the same faulting probabilities. We found that these different supercells show virtually identical powder patterns. No appreciable changes could also be observed in supercells with identical ABCD.../ABAB... fractional character but with different assignments of the individual layers.
