    • The exchange interactions depend on the coordination (tetrahedric T or octahedric O) of the magnetic Fe ions and they are all negative as they correspond to AFM interactions between nn. Their values used in the simulation correspond to real values for maghemite: J ij TT =-21 K, J ij OO =-8.6 K, J ij TO =-28.1 K. The magnetic field is measured here in temperature units, h=μH/ kB, where μ is the atomic magnetic moment.
