    • During experiments, we compared the CV curves for the PXV-DNA LBL multilayers assembled at either 30 minutes or 10 hours and did not find significant difference from their current intensity, thus we used 30 minutes for each assembly in the present work. On the other hand, our previous work [10,11] also indicated that 30 minutes were enough for the assembly of LBL multilayers based on electrostatic interaction.
