20. We note that the theoretical model for multiphonon decay proposed by Nitzan, Mukamel and Jortner [J. Chem. Phys. JCPSA6 0021-9606 60, 3929 (1974)] is limited in that it does not account for decay into other high frequency localized modes as reported by West and Estreicher.
