But not as simple a solution as that proposed by Crawford, who said that Kant's designation of dependent beauty, or, as he prefers, the dependent judgement of beauty, was simply a concession to common ways of talking, and that in Kant's view this judgement is in fact just a disguised judgement of perfection and not a genuine aesthetic judgement at all.
