We directly compared the effect of calcination temperature of Cs2.5 on the hydrolysis ratio of ethyl acetate. First, Cs2.5 powder (0.4 g) calcined at 300 °C or 500 °C for 1 h was added to 15 ml of 6 vol% ethyl acetate aqueous solution. The obtained acetic acid was titrated using NaOH solution. The reaction rate of 500 °C-calcined Cs2.5 (9.1 μmol/g·min) was decreased to 1/3 of that of 300 °C-calcined Cs2.5 (27 μmol/g·min).
