This is a provocative study challenging the nearly 40-year-old Knudson's 'two-hit' theory of Rb development using epidemiologic evidence to support its claims. Larger patient sample sizes are needed to support these authors' claims, but the article is extremely important and its conclusions will undoubtedly be explored by other centers in the future.
