An important contribution to the current global picture. Based on a review of publications on the reproductive health of adolescents, this article identifies that effective approaches are multifaceted. It provides insight into young people's rights, particularly issues affecting girls and young women and identifies the importance of youth development programmes which link young people to purposeful interventions.
