    • A hybrid behavior is observed when the addition of the macroradical to the RAFT/MADIX agent is delayed. As a consequence, higher molecular weights than theoretically predicted are observed in the early stages of the polymerization while unreacted RAFT/MADIX agent is found. At higher conversion all RAFT/MADIX agent is consumed and the polymerization proceeds in a living fashion
