For the Landers, Hector Mine, and Northridge earthquakes the areas are 1.1°×1.1°, 1.0°×1.0°, and 0.6°×0.6°, respectively. The area of the Parkfield earthquakes is an elliptical region centered at 35.9° N and -120.5° W with radii of sizes 0.4° and 0.15° and oriented 137° NW. The data up to 365 days after each mainshock were considered. The data are the same as in Refs..
