In the words of one great scientist, "As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality." (Albert Einstein, address to the Prussian Academy of Sciences, Berlin, 27 January 1921, Methuen & Co., London,.) For example, these calculations neglect temperature variation over the Earth's surface. Improved calculations such as those of, "," Q. J. R. Meteorol. Soc., (1997), take additional details into account and show that the numbers generated in this article are accurate enough to prove their point.
