    • The value of the optical index of the different organelles of a living cell is still an open question and it is out the objective of this letter. Several papers have shown that the optical index of the cytoplasm and the nucleus are very similar and both are close to 1.4. See for instance, 1552-4922, ();, Appl. Phys.
