16. We examined the effect of these compounds on cultured HCT116 cells and determined their effect on cell-cycle progression by the colorimetric cytotoxicity test using sulforhodamine B (Skehan J. At selected time points, groups of cells are fixed with trichloroacetic acid and stained with sulforhodamine B (SRB).
