    • 12 ) was studied theoretically in the previeus paper; C. Rovira, J. Phys. Chem. A 101 (1997) 8914. The C atom of a CO molecule, the N atom of an NO molecule and one of O atom of an O2 molecule is bonded to the Fe atom of an FeP molecule. The CO molecule is adsorbed perpendicularly to the plane of an FeP molecule. On the other hand, the NO and O2 molecules are not adsorbed perpendicularly but are declined largely. By using the OpenMX code [11], we have confirmed that the adsorption structures for a thiolated FeP molecule (FeN4C20H10S2) have the same feature, as described in Ref. [5]. For such stable structures, the possibility of the molecular sensor utilizing the electrontransport is discussed in Ref. [5].
