    • Throughout the paper we have ignored the incommensurate nature of the gapping in discussing the dHvA oscillations. This incommensurability may be related to the presence of the extra frequencies marked with arrows in Fig. 2, but should not alter the basic conclusion that the FS volume in the CDW state is larger than that inferred from the optical conductivity.
