    • For the problem under study, the ABC at the air interface is equivalent to d2 Ex d z2 + (εh ω2 c2 - ky2) Ex =0 (evaluated at the wire medium side of the interface), whereas the ABC at the ground plane is equivalent to d3 Ex d z3 + (εh ω2 c2 - ky2) d Ex dz =0, where εh is the permittivity of the host medium. A detailed proof of these results will be reported elsewhere.
