    • The XPS of the 250 500 Å-thick bottom PTCBI film showed a single O 1s peak (531.1 eV) and two N 1s peaks (400.4 and 402.2 eV), consistent with the molecular symmetry of PTCBI. The C 1s core level spectrum appeared as a single peak (284.5 eV), which is presumably comprised of several unresolved spectral lines, corresponding to the chemically different carbon atoms found in the PTCBI molecule.
