In our preliminary study, we reported no significant He/N2 permeation selectivity for an unglued LB bilayer of 1. We have now gone back and fabricated six indpendent, unglued LB bilayers of 1 (including one using a surface pressure of 30 dyn/cm that was used previously) and found that the He/N2 permeation selectivities range between 7 and 30
