Figure 1 shows a Molybdenum wire that was etched in KOH at +12VDC, with detonation nanodiamond deposited by pulsed electrophoresis from diamond-ethanol suspension (2 g of diamond per 1 1 of ethanol, the suspension was sonieated for 15 min prior to deposition). The radius of curvature at tip apex is ∼60 nm.
