    • 3H-thymidine incorporation was reduced by 30% at 15 μg/mL and by 85% at 20 μg/mL. Similar or slightly smaller values were obtained for the U-937, the MV4-11, and the NB-4 cell lines. Maximum inhibitions for aspernigrins A (3) and B (4) observed for any cell line and any assay method ranged between 5 and 15% at the highest concentration tested (50 μg/mL). No inhibitory activities were detectable at lower concentrations.
