    • According to the 31P NMR some Pd0(PnBu 3)3 must also be formed in a fast equilibrium with Pd 0(PnBu3)2, leading to a unique oxidation peak at-0.37 V vs SCE, whose current peak was not proportional to the thermodynamic concentration of the Pd(0) species but to a dynamic concentration due to a shift of the equilibrium with Pd0(η2-1a)PnBu 3)2 toward their formation, as a consequence of their consumption in the diffusion layer by their oxidation at the steady electrode (CE mechanism).16
