    • A Minimal Test for Political Theories
    • After writing this paper, I came across an article by Tim Mulgan which describes a situation which resembles the PIP in having rigid temporal group differentiation. Mulgan proposes a minimal test for political theories. Political theories must justify at least some obligations to future generations in what he calls the Mayfly Case. There, generations of mayflies are rigidly differentiated over time. See Mulgan, "A Minimal Test for Political Theories," Philosophia, 2001
