33. Many vendors retag the 440 field to 490 in bibliographic record and create an 830 field based on the contents of the 440 field. The series title in the 830 field receives authority control. Many libraries prefer not to restore the 830 field back to the 440 fields causing the duplicate series statements on OPAC if both fields are displayed.
