    • The critical temperature does not tend towards a finite ⊖ temperature, because the second virial coefficient is proportional to 1/T and does not vanish at the ⊖ temperature as it does in the Flory-Huggins theory. The neglect of the temperature dependence of the second-order virial coefficient is immaterial for the present study, because we study the behavior at constant temperature close to the critical temperature of the solvent which is much lower than the ⊖ temperature of the polymer.
