    • Due to experimental difficulties encountered when using the functionalized 1-tert-butyldimethylsiloxypropyllithium initiator, unrelated to the HFPO coupling reaction, only 80% coupling efficiency was observed for this sample. However, when using sec-butyllithium, our results were very reproducible and we consistently observed the three-armed star polymer in excellent yield under the reported optimal conditions.
