This study reviews a single institution high-risk cohort of patients with congenital heart diseases undergoing cardiac surgery. In over 5000 anesthetics, 41 cardiac arrests were observed. Only 11 were classified to be anesthesia related. All were resuscitated and had no long-term sequelae.
