The interaction channel is alternatively called crossed electron-hole channel. See Refs. 15, 16 and 18 for the nomenclature concerning the two-particle irreducibility in the Hubbard model.

The channel dependence in the vertex function (Formula presented) reduces to a mere rotation or interchange of incoming and outgoing lines. We can drop the superscript (Formula presented) when fixing the incoming and outgoing particles as in Fig. 11.

N. E. Bickers, (unpublished) solved the diagonal form of the parquet equations for a two-dimensional Hubbard model at high temperatures, far away from the two-particle criticality. It seems that a full solution in the critical region is still beyond the reach of the present computational facilities.
