She demonstrates the broader relevance of processes of interpellation, as affecting 'visible minority' third-world migrant women more generally who are constructed as 'women of colour'.

This work involved outreach to homeless women, asylum seekers, people in difficulty; social and legal assistance to asylum seekers in a state-funded residence; and emergency reception of asylum-seeker families.
