    • Despite this divergence, Bannerji's argument has important implications for the extent to which (a qualified version of) interpellation can be extended to non-Muslim non-refugee women. She demonstrates the broader relevance of processes of interpellation, as affecting 'visible minority' third-world migrant women more generally who are constructed as 'women of colour'.
