    • This method of implementation seems to be somewhat unphysical, but gives the same qualitative results with less computational effort than the usual method of allowing the particle to diffuse from the beginning. This is due to the fact that the adatom will always tend to diffuse to the local energy minimum. Our method only accelerates this process without changing the physics behind it
