    • This statement is true only for a certain class of boundary conditions: those specifying either the heat flux, or the granular temperature at the boundaries. For vibrofluidized systems, the boundary conditions of this type are usually obtained under two conditions. First, the vibration amplitude of the driving plate should be much less than the mean free path of the granulate near the driving plate. Second, the vibration frequency should be much higher than the particle collision rate near the plate
