    • By using the method of multiple scales, one can further solve the fourth-order approximation of Eqs. 10 10 10 10 10 10. Then Eqs. 17 17 will be modified to have some additional terms contributed by high-order dispersion and high-order nonlinearities. The effect of these additional terms can be studied analytically by the perturbation theory of solitons.
