32. 4 (13 mg, 0.1 mmol) was added. After 30 h under magnetic stirring at 50 °C the reaction was completed as verified by TLC control. The reaction mixture was filtered, the catalyst was recovered (11 mg, 85%) and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was purified by flash column chromatography to afford 5α-ethoxy-6β-hydroxy-17-oxoandrostan-3β-yl acetate 7b as a white solid (314.0 mg, 80% yield).
