    • It should be noted that TangPhos, (1S,1′S,2R,2′R)-1,1′- di-tert-butyl-2,2′-diphospholanyl, is a well designed chiral phosphine ligand for the formation of a very rigid metal complex and in fact it is successfully applied in highly enantioselective Rh-catalyzed hydrogenations. See: Ref. 6
