In this study, 90% of clear cell renal carcinomas were hypervascular and demonstrated a heterogeneous enhancing pattern. Seventy-five percent of papillary renal cell carcinomas were hypovascular, and 90% of papillary carcinomas demonstrated either homogeneous or peripheral enhancement. Chromophobe tumors demonstrated moderate vascularity and variable enhancement patterns.
