    • An additional control experiment has shown that an identical PDMAEMA-b-PNTPAM copolymer in which the terminal ditnioester has been removed by addition of excess diazo initiator forms polymer stabilized nanoparticles under conditions reported here. This demonstrates, as supported by references 11 and 12 that the thiol group is not necessary for nanoparticles formation and stabilization with amine containing polymers
