35. Compound 1 was also reacted with 2 in methylene chloride, THF, acetone, and toluene in the presence of triethylamine to give compound 3 in 85-95% yield, respectively.
36. Esterification of 4a with methanol in refluxing toluene, acetone, acetonitrile, methylene chloride, and diethyl ether also gave the corresponding ester 6a in good to excellent yields under same condition.
