    • Assay of α-glucosidase activity: α-glucosidase activity was assayed in 50 mM phosphate buffer (pH 6.8) containing 5% v/v DMSO and the PNP glucosidase was used as a substrate. The inhibitors were pre-incubated with the enzyme at 37 °C for 30 min. The reaction was monitored spectrophotometrically by measuring the absorbance at 405 nm.
